PDF Renderer can parse the Portable Document Format (PDF) from a file and display it, as an AWT image, in a panel, or using any Graphics2D implementation. PDF output is also via iText, but for many purposes should be easier than using iText directly. I've found in practice, it breaks down pretty quickly when you need to start outputting special formatting (tables, wrapped text, etc).  Building and configuring all of that with code turns into a maintenance nightmare.  An alternative solution is to build use LifeCycle Designer to build PDFs that populate themselves by calling web services.
